Suggestion feature is very helpful when I am mentally stuck. ELO setting lets us dial in the right difficulty when my 7 year old plays with it.

Its been years since I played chess and even then it was rarely, me against game and I was not good. Im a slow learner but Chess Pro is giving me confidence I can train myself to be at minimum a Ok player, but with dedication can become a good player

Favorite chess app so far As a beginner I appreciate the trainer mode the most so far. I bought the app as I dont like ads!!

If you like chess... This is the one to get. Play great games while learning... And learn strategy if you are a newbie with teach mode.

Great learning tool. It has certainly helped me step up my game! Knowing how to move is one thing, knowing why to move makes is the difference between winning and losing.

But you need to read and understand tactics so you can understand why the "coach" is suggesting moves. Well done!

I normally dont give 5 stars but this is a phenomenal app that deserves it!!! Highly recommended for the chess beginner and chess pro!!!

This chess app has a chess tutor that actually gives great moves instead of worthless random moves. Ive seen it give combos 3 or 4 moves deep. You can easily learn by keeping the tutor on and thinking through why its suggesting that move.

I bought this app to teach my teen daughter how to play chess. I like the fact that you can customize the game to show available moves and threats. Another plus is being able to increase the level of competition as your skills increase. Great app!
